Granary House and Karupahna Holiday Home

Accommodation for families is during the summer mostly available on weekdays due to major events held in the territory, but summer is still vacation time and it is not difficult to come to the countryside for a day or two. Accommodation for families is available in the Granary House, next to the main building and privately located Karupaha Holiday Home.

The main complex of the Toosikannu Holiday Center has evolved around the lake in the heart of the center. There are various saunas around the lake, where you can relax with larger or smaller groups. The lakeside area includes the sauna house with Russian heater, Smoke Sauna, and Island sauna with Finnish heater. You can find more information about saunas on the page of saunas.

Family rooms at Granary House

The brand new Granary House, located in the main complex was completed in May 2021 and has a total of 16 rooms. Most of rooms have one double bed and one single bed, and the family rooms have a double bed and a bunk bed. Rooms are also equipped with a refrigerator, kettle, toilet and shower. The doors of the rooms have convenient and secure code locks, and there is no longer needs to share a key and allows us to provide contactless service.

The rooms, as well as the building itself, are in the style corresponding to the name, built of strong logs by Jansa OÜ and finished with natural wood as it should be in the countryside. A strong staircase leads to the second floor and there are sturdy benches in front of the rooms to enjoy the view of the lake while relaxing and taking some fresh air.

The Granary House can accommodate up to 49 people in total and 32 if people are staying in double/twin rooms. There are two family rooms with one double bed and bunk bed. One room is specially adapted for guests with reduced mobility and has twin beds.

For outside activities we have a kids play area with swings, a climber and a sandpit.

Family holiday in Karupahna Holiday Home

The Karupahna Holiday Home was built in 2008 and is located approximately 1 km from the main building. Surrounded by beautiful nature and forest it is very private and perfect destination for smaller groups and families or even two.

Karupahna Holiday House has all the amenities and is suitable for 10-12 guests:

• 2 family bedrooms on the 1st floor – both rooms have 1 double bed and 1 single bed
• 6 single beds on the 2nd floor “kids attic”
• WC and a WC/shower on the first floor
• A terrace with furniture, wood-fired sauna and a hot tub

There’s also a kitchen unit and all modern kitchen equipment along with all necessary dishes and cutlery and large table for 12. Large French doors lead to the terrace from lounge where you find a fireplace, seating area and a wood-fired sauna with Finnish heater.

There volleyball field and a kids play area with a swings, climber and a sandpit.

What else to do in Central Estonia?

And of course, you have a great opportunity to enjoy local sights as well. There is Adventure Park in Türi, Kirna Manor (read the STORY) is full of tulips, Bicycle museum at Väätsa, Dairy Museum in Imavere, Wittenstein Time Centre in Paide Tower, one of the best-preserving wooden church and Stroller Museum in Käru. One hour drive is to the Old Engineering Museum and Vintage Vehicle Storehouse in Järva-Jaani. Please find more information at local tourism website VisitJärva!
